Is anyone getting out these days?!

Are any files moving lately. It just seems soooo quiet...how long is it taking to get through IB* and the "P" office now?.... I know that there are kids coming home, I was just wondering about those who are in the middle of the process.

We could all use some good news. I really can't believe mine won't be home for their 4thbd. We chose them at 20 mo old.

Here is my personal thought: I think the process seems to have an ebb and flow to it. (Not a consistent one but that's another story.) It seems like each step has a time where it functions really well and the time frame is relatively quick. Right now, that part seems to be MOI. The time line is 2-5 months which is fairly effecient when contrasted with the other steps. When we were in IB** with Kenson, we hit a quick time when things there were averaging 3-5 months and we were out in 3 months. But at that time, MOI and the other steps were slower. So my personal theory is this: it is cosmically impossible for all steps of the process to proceed effeciently and in a timely way. Instead, many files fly through one office at one time and then create a bottleneck in other office resulting in only a trickle of files being released. Either that or someone's been bringing pinatas and party games to work every day.

When I first read the title, I thought you meant "out of the house" (...guess this winter weather is getting to me!)
I haven't heard of any movement in those offices recently-- seems to be a "dry spell" of good news. Hoping for a "flood" of praises even in the next couple of weeks!!!

I think I'd heard that two from our O got out of IB***, but they were two that did not need dispensation. Then I also heard that a couple files from other O's had been released from "P" - but those were a couple weeks ago. I agree with Kayla though - when it rains it pours, but then creates a bottleneck. Still waiting for it to pour on ours - think we hit the bottlenecks. :(

Kristi - me too! It's supposed to snow here again tomorrow night, and be colder than normal the rest of the week & next weekend. Boo!!! I'm so ready for spring!

Well, I've been in IBESR just shy of 6 months now....I am in dispensation due to my age, and praying for a miracle SOON. I guess I hit a bottleneck...I feel like I got off to a rough start because it took me 6 months to get IN to IBESR...and now everything seems slow...sigh.
