Crazy Summer

It has been a roller coaster of emotions this summer. Highs and lows and highs and lows. But we just keep hanging on occasionally screaming :-) And praying...A LOT! I will say that the Lord continues to bless us as we learn to give Him a "sacrifice of praise" even when we don't feel like it. And trusting Him has never been so difficult. But I know His Word tells us to "trust Him" and that He is in control of all things...even the things that don't make sense.

I'm sure you heard that Calerbe has his Haitian passport printed and his paperwork is being submitted for I600 approval...then visa. Not sure how long that will take but it won't be too long now!!!

If you've been following us since the spring (of course, if you were, you probably have stopped coming by due to the lack of posts...sorry) you will remember how we were in the middle of a crisis. And our finances were also being cut. But we committed to stay faithful to the Lord for what is His and continue to give our full tithe...plus. Well, God is bringing us through this and Brad has been blessed with A LOT of work for the next month...unfortunately it's night work. This shift has never been easy for Brad and he will be working 10 hour days, 6 days a week. We are very thankful he has work but please pray he will stay healthy. He often gets sick when he doesn't sleep well. God has also blessed us with a little work from a new business we are starting. It hasn't brought in much money yet (but has reaped other benefits), but we expect the spring to be a booming time!

We had been praying that Calerbe would come home in August. But we now realize that would be very difficult with his job. We wanted him to come home this month because August is the month we were united with Evan. But September is the month we actually brought him home. So, September is a good month to celebrate Forever Home Month!!! Now we are praying for September.

I'm hoping to have a Photo update of Calerbe soon...

Thank you Jesus for the many blessings you bestow upon us each day. Things we take for granted, things we live out expecting. There isn't a day that goes by that has not been ordained by you. Not a day lived out that has not first passed through Your hands. I praise you God and ask that you make us strong and help us to continue to lift our praises to You...LORD OF ALL!

I will be posting pictures from July happenings and also things we've been doing this past week...I love you all, God Bless...Terry

August is still a possibility; I'm sure you'll be glad to have him home any day or month! :)

No! I hadn't heard that you had a passport! Wow! So great to hear! So excited! Can't think of anything more that should use exclamation marks but what the hey! I'll just keep using them! So good to hear your news!
