1/9/11

Ok, a little late but....

....Christmas!    The days leading up to Christmas! Lighting our advent candles and devotion with daddy...
Evan and Asher decorating the tree...
This is the first year Evan did not run from
Santa. Of course he looks a little unhappy and he refused to sit on his lap. Asher on the other hand waved and made himself at home right on Santa's knee as soon as he walked in the door...hmmmm, a bit concerning, but he did have fun!

They not only found their way to the manger, they found a place to rest, right next to Jesus!
They clean up pretty good don't they!
Awesome picture of Evan in mid-sneeze! This was Christmas morning. They open their stocking presents before they are allowed downstairs (while mom and dad wake up and get their tea and find the camera ;) Then Dad, mom, Brad, Evan and Asher all join together in our bedroom and read from Luke and pray...
Then it's time to cut the ribbons at the top of the steps to welcome Christmas! The little ones cut the ribbon (we did this with the first three too!) I asked Bradley if he wanted to cut this year, he declined : /
Ok, this one isn't in order, But they are modeling the milk and cookies (they helped to make!)  left for Santa...Izzy, our very bad Italian Greyhound enjoyed them...bad doggie! shhhh, don't tell the boys!
Opening presents! woohooo!
Bradley with one of his presents! Nice way to vent pent up stress!
Levi came about an hour later in his jammies to open his presents! Oh, Amy and David did too...
Actually, ALL the kids came this year for breakfast, a mom's dream come true. And Grandmom and Pop Pop Jim too!
I love this bag I got from Brad...My mom called it a saddle bag. No taste...
This was the best present of all!!! All the  little boys love it! Thanks Santa!
Time for Breakfast. My favorite part!
 Yummy!
Lauren and Mike opening their gifts...
...and Amys Christmas pose...we get this every year!

Pop pop Jim, Grandmom Bert, Lauren and Mike

Amy Lynn and David. David's slippers didn't fit, sorry.

Tried to get a cute photo of the boys in their jammies, no go...

Now we are onward and upward into 2011!!!
I love the new year :)

Onward and upward...I like that!! I read over some of your past posts...I didn't know that you homeschooled. We do, too!

Wonderful pictures. I especially love the "clean up good" shot of the two boys together, and I love your ribbon cutting tradition-cute!
